“Who you tryin’ to get crazy with ese? Don’t you know I’m loco?” Okay, so I’m a bit of a Cypress Hill fan, but I’ve got good reason to bring up the lyrics to that classic hit because VillainousMind is launching its Locura (which means ‘madness’ in Spanish) Personal Media Server for the PSP.

You install this server onto your home PC and then you can easily use it as a launch pad for dishing out all those multimedia goodies (pictures, etc.) onto the tiny screen of your Sony PSP. Basically, you can interact via the PSP’s web browser to stream music (by setting up an RSS feed) or gain access to movies stored on you computer’s hard drive.

Best of all, the basic version of the Locura is absolutely free of charge, but comes with a few limitations. You can only download movies and stream music. If you want full functionality, you can opt for the single-user variant for $30 or pick up the family version for $50 which allows for up to five connections. Insane in the membrane… well, you know the rest.
