I’ve written countless times about a new flash drive claiming to be the world’s smallest, but here’s one that’s a bit different – it’s claim is that it’s the world’s thinnest.
PQI has unveiled their new U510 and it’s about the size of a credit card. Just 3 mm thick, which, when combined with its other dimensions of 85 x 54 mm, means that you have a tiny little drive that you could slide right into your pocket or wallet and hardly even notice.
Even better, this little card is packed with 16GB of data storage, and a retractable USB 2.0 jack. There’s no word yet on the price or the availability, though the best guess has to be that it will be pricy given the specs.
