Remember back when you were a kid and you saw all those pictures of cars of the future that looked really cool and flew and stuff? I’m always disappointed that today’s cars don’t look much different from the past. Well, a new concept vehicle from Australia really looks like something out of the future. The Skipee is an eco-friendly tricycle concept designed by Dimitrios Scoutas, a design student. In honor of it’s Australian heritage, Skipee looks a lot like a kangaroo. It is made almost entirely of recycled materials and runs on a battery powered motor contained in the back wheel. The vehicle uses three wheels to promote stability in the corners. It has a headlight on each front wheel so that it looks like a car to oncoming traffic.
The Skipee was displayed as part of the display called Forecast Motors at the Monash University Art Design Faculty.
