Sony has added a new product to their Car Handsfree solution line. This one makes it even easier for you to keep in touch while driving, no matter how unsafe that may be. The HCB-100 Bluetooth car kit is a simple way to put handsfree talking via your Bluetooth-enabled phone into your car. It needs no installation. You just clip it to your visor. It is discrete enough that it doesn’t look ridiculous and the buttons are big enough that you don’t drive off the road as you are trying to work the thing. It has DSP, or Digital Signal Processing, to cut out noise and reduce echo for the best sound quality.
The kit is compatible with up to 5 phones at once and has color-coding so you can keep track of those connection. It offers 20 hours of talk time or 600 hours of standby on a single charge.
The Sony Ericsson HCB-100 car kit will be available in the second quarter of the year.
