Sony Ericsson is riding a wave of success with the Walkman phones. Instead of resting on their laurels, though, the company keeps pushing the envelope by releasing new phones with more features. The latest offering is the W300i. This is the real life version of the Mulan/W530 that we have heard rumors of since October. It is a quad-band EDGE Walkman phone with an integrated camera which is strangely only VGA.
The phone has a 128 x 160 color TFT primary display and a smaller 101 x 80 external display for when the clamshell phone is closed. Like all Walkman phones it has dedicated music buttons and offers up to 30 hours of music playback per charge. It has Bluetooth and RDS FM radio. Memory is thanks to Memory Stick Micro cards. It ships with a 256MB card to get you started.
The phone will ship in Shimmering White and Shadow Black. It measures 3.5 x 1.9 x 0.9 inches and weighs 3.21 ounces. It will be shipping in the second quarter of this year.
