The MF-DU204G is an external hard drive that measures just 68 x 30 x 13 mm and weighs only 44 grams. Elecom Japan, the manufacturer, claims that it is the smallest external hard drive in the world. Inside the tiny box is a bus powered 0.85 inch hard drive with a 4GB capacity. An integrated USB 2.0 connector makes it easy and fast for you to connect it to your PC.

The MF-DU204G leaves Mac users out in the cold, since it only works with Windows 98 and later. It comes with USB Disk, a password protection utility and will be available in Japan at the end of the month in Japan for about $220. No word on whether it will expand to other markets.
