If you are in one of the shopping capitals of the world you can hit Gucci, Armani, Rolex and, soon, Nokia. The Scandinavian company has announced their intention to open several Nokia Flagship Stores in major world cities. The stores will be a place for customers to buy Nokia products and, more importantly in the eyes of the company, experience the full range of Nokia products and the benefits of cutting edge mobility.
The first Nokia Flagship Store was opened yesterday in Pushkin Square in Moscow. Several more will be opened in high profile locations in the next couple of years.
“Through an innovative retail experience like the new Nokia Flagship Stores, Nokia aims to inspire and educate consumers to the benefits of mobility and broaden the appeal of the Nokia brand. It is a place for discovery and entertainment,” said Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, President and COO of Nokia.
The company boldly promises that their vision for these stores is unique and unlike the other mobile phone stores that are on every street corner and every mall. Highly trained staff will be able to provide education, show off the latest products and get customer feedback. Shoppers will be able to try out the latest products, include N-Gage games.
