Microsoft has announced the creatively named Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration version 3.5. The solution allows service providers to offer small and medium sized businesses, enterprise-class e-mail services, mobile device data access, team Web sites, and online presence information.
Version 3.5 includes several enhancements, including new mobile synchronization capabilities, security enhancements and new tools which decrease management time and increase customer acquisition opportunities for hosting partners. Microsoft is reinforcing its commitment to building relationships with telecommunications and hosting service providers to deliver a wide range of services to businesses.
“More and more small and midsize businesses require advanced enterprise-class features once reserved only for corporations with extensive IT budgets. The latest release of Hosted Messaging and Collaboration addresses that issue with unprecedented new features for these organizations,” said Pascal Martin, general manager of Worldwide Hosting at Microsoft.
The Solution will be available on November 28th. Its targeted at companies with anywhere between 10 and 250 users. The software offers business-class solutions for users in the office and on the road with a low front-end cost and reduced need for internal IT resources.
