Bang & Olufsen, the upscale uber-expensive Danish electronics firm has teamed up with Samsung to design a high-end phone sometime this year. They want to emphasize simplicity and style when designing the new phone.
The handset is set to be launched in 17 European countries come fourth quarter of 2005. When commenting on the phones expectations, they said that they won’t be focusing on the new 3G technologies but will focus on the ‘tried-and-tested’ technology. They also mentioned that the phone will be aimed at an older crowd of people over the age of 25. They aim to make a simple phone that will suit their ‘core clients’ that just want a quality stylish phone to simply talk with.
No word on their North American plans, but I’m sure if you want it bad enough and you have the cash, you can get one over on your home soil.
