Samsung’s Latest DMB Phone Looks Sci-Fi

Samsung’s latest Digital Media Broadcast cell phone has it all, and you won’t be interrupted when enjoying a show. The Samsung SCH-B250 was unveiled today in Korea, it will be multi-tasker friendly by allowing users to call or send instant messages while watching DMB.

A built-in 2 megapixel camera has advanced photo editing functions and picture effects. The OS has a file view that will allow you to sort your media, and the built-in viewer will let you read MS Office or PDF files. A stored English dictionary gives us hope that this may be one of those fancy toys we hope to see on this side of the earth.

Although DMB is an exciting technology, but there are major drawbacks to having a satellite type service, like it will only work when you are clear view of the sky. So this won’t hold you down on train, subway trips, or on in and around the office.

The Samsung SCH-B250 will sell for around US $775 and should be out in Korea next month.
