Motorola unveiled their new E725 phone at the Miami Music Multimedia (M3) show today. The high-speed EV-DO E725 is a high-end music phone with a slider design and a strange looking back that oddly resembles a bottle opener.
The phone will feature a built in FM transmitter, stereo speakers, and an iPod style scroll wheel to easily navigate your music. Another key feature is the standard 3.5mm mini headphone jack which will enable you to plug in any old headphones you like. Most of the other music phones on the market require proprietary headsets which further dig into the consumer’s pockets and have far less accoustic perfection.
As for storage of your media, the phone will come with 41MB of internal memory with the ability to add an extra 1GB MiniSD through its expansion slot.
Expect to see this phone ship in the second half of 2005, no price set yet.
