Telus Mobility is now offering the first CDMA handset in Canada with Bluetooth technology, coincidentally, Sprint just began offering the LG-PM325, the first CDMA Bluetooth handset in the US. The Motorola V710 is packed with features, including a 1.3 megapixel camera, video capture, 16MB internal memory and expandable memory up to 128MB with Trans Flash and support for MP3 playback. The V710 will be available immediately, but it will cost ya $450 CAD or $300 with a plan.

TELUS Mobility and Motorola launch Canada’s first CDMA Bluetooth enabled wireless phone

Feature-rich flip phone includes megapixel camera, video, speakerphone and MP3 player

Motorola, Inc. and TELUS Mobility today launched the Motorola V710, a feature-rich wireless flip phone equipped with Bluetooth capability, a high-resolution 1.3 Megapixel camera, video capture and playback, optional expandable memory card, and an integrated MP3 player.

Exclusively available from TELUS Mobility, the Motorola V710 is the first Bluetooth wireless phone available in Canada that operates on the Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology, the North American wireless standard used for TELUS Mobility’s national PCS network.
