This past week at CES in Las Vegas, Motorola, Inc. unveiled the latest addition to its Bluetooth portfolio — the new HF800 Portable Wireless Speaker. The Motorola HF800 Portable Wireless Speaker is a compact and stylish accessory that can act as a hands-free speakerphone or wireless headset jack when connected to any compatible Bluetooth enabled device up to a 10-meter range.

“We continue to strive to offer consumers compelling communications solutions that enable them to enjoy the active, mobile lifestyles that they crave,” said Bruce Hawver, vice president and general manager of companion products for Motorola’s Personal Communications Sector. “The Motorola HF800 Portable Wireless Speaker is a perfect example of this — delivering a powerful solution for business people who want to cut the cord from the office conference phone or for people who are always on the go and want an easy-to- use solution for hands-free communications.”
The ultra-compact Motorola HF800 Portable Wireless Speaker fits in the palm of your hand and features a powerful one-Watt speaker that delivers clear, crisp sound quality by using sophisticated echo and noise reduction technology.

Ease of use complements the products convenience and portability. Simply push the multifunction button to answer, end, and initiate calls and perform three-way calling and call hold functions; push the Mute button to mute and unmute calls. The speaker’s impressive battery life allows for a talk time of up to three hours and standby time of up to 100 hours. Additionally, charging is simple, as the unique new Motorola HF800 Portable Wireless Speaker uses the same travel and car chargers as most compatible Motorola phones. Bluetooth enthusiasts will appreciate the fact that the Motorola HF800 with Bluetooth wireless technology stores device-pairing information and wirelessly interacts with up to eight different Bluetooth 1.1 compliant devices, including handsets, PDA’s and computers.

The new Motorola HF800 Portable Wireless Speaker complements Motorola’s diverse portfolio of Bluetooth wireless technology-enabled in-vehicle, wireless handset and wireless accessory solutions, including the recently announced third generation Bluetooth Wireless headset — the Motorola HS810. The Motorola HS810, a “CES Innovations 2004 Design and Engineering Showcase” honoree in the Accessories category, allows users to connect wirelessly to Bluetooth enabled devices up to a 10-meter range. Delivering invisible and reliable connectivity, the new ergonomic headset weighs less than one ounce (20 grams) and offers a sleek style with a unique boom microphone, as well as high quality sound.

Both the Motorola HF800 Wireless Speaker and the Motorola HS810 Bluetooth Wireless Headset complete the true wireless experience with the recently announced Motorola V600 phone which will be available in February at AT&T Wireless stores nationwide.
