I/OMagic Corp., recently introduced a new portable, stand alone device that is equipped with a 6-n-1 memory card reader allowing users — with just one touch — to conveniently copy all digital images from their camera’s memory card into its 20 GB storage space. The new product is the I/OMagic “Digital Photo Library.”
The Digital Photo Library allows users to shoot unlimited pictures, then quickly and easily store up to 15,000(a) pictures without having to connect to a computer. Features include quick image downloads from the camera’s memory card to the Digital Photo Library, easy and fast transfers via a USB interface to a PC, and a rechargeable battery that lasts for more than two hours allowing “on the go” image transfers.
“It’s cost-effective to own the Digital Photo Library because there is no longer a need for digital camera users to purchase multiple memory cards,” said Paul T. McCauley, vice president of Marketing for I/OMagic Corp. “This convenient, two-pound device is the perfect travel companion.”
“We believe there is huge growth potential for this product which goes hand-in-hand with soaring digital camera sales,” continued McCauley. “We’ve already received commitments from some of the largest computer and camera retailers in North America.”
The Digital Photo Library supports most of today’s different types of memory cards including Compact Flash (CF), Smart Media (SM), Memory Stick (MS), Secure Data (SD), MultiMedia Card (MMC) and IBM MicroDrive. The Digital Photo Library has an MSRP of $229.99.
