Intel Releases Personal Audio Player 3000


Intel has unveiled an MP3 player aimed more at the playground than the techno-phile.

The Intel Personal Audio Player 3000 comes with a clear faceplate so that you can i your own favourite pictures making your player a one off – perhaps a rare Pokemon character.

It has 64Mb of Intel’s proprietry StrataFlash memory built-in, which provides up to two hours of digital music or more than ten hours of spoken word audio. It is also equipped with a Multi Media Card expansion slot that enables consumers to add memory to store even more of their favourite music.

Included with the package is Intel’s Audio Manager 2.0 software, making files fast and easy to organise, and MusicMatch Jukebox Plus software with a complete set of tools to download and encode audio from most CDs into MP3 or WMA formats, although not AAC. It also enables you to manage play lists, and burn audio CDs from digital audio files.
