Sprint and LG InfoComm today announced the availability of the dual-band Sprint PCS Phone TP5200 handset. It weighs only 3.5 ounces with its standard Lithium Ion battery attached.

Available exclusively through Sprint PCS, the TP5200 has been designed for ease of use, offering an external Caller ID screen, menu-driven navigation, voice memo, voice-activated dialing and convenient headset jack. It’s available for $249.99 at Sprint Stores and other participating retailers within the Sprint PCS 100-percent digital, 100-percent PCS nationwide wireless network.

This phone also provides users with personalization and entertainment with its 26 four-tone melodious MIDI ringer options, plus a silent vibrating ringer alert; its two games Comanche (a helicopter action game) and Black Jack2; and its bi-lingual display capabilities (English/Spanish). In addition, the TP5200 equips consumers with productivity tools including a calendar that provides the ability to schedule events and views for Today, Weekly and Monthly; “Smart” filing system for organization and quick access of text messages; Tegic T9 predictive text entry; and calculator.
