Acer America introduces a new addition to its family of TravelMate Tablet PCs, the TravelMate C310, which is a fully convertible laptop and Tablet computer. Indeed, with the C310, you can work just about anywhere you like because its design enables you to use it as a fully functional laptop with a full-sized keyboard or as a Tablet PC with the included stylus. Integrated Wi-Fi 802.11b/g WLAN support enables you to connect to any of widely available wireless networks. It also features three USB 2.0 ports, an IEEE 1394 port, gigabit LAN connection, and a 56K V.92 modem.
The C310 also comes to you with a 14.1” XGA display and options including an Intel Pentium M Processor 760, 1 GB DDR RAM, NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 graphics, and a 100GB detachable hard drive. The C310 weighs only 6.4 pounds and retails at a starting price of $1,699.
"Acer's Tablet legacy is focused on continuing to evolve the Tablet platform and bring Tablet functionality to the masses. The feature set of the TravelMate C310 will allow end-users to utilize this newest Tablet not only as a mobile solution, but also as a desktop replacement system in corporate environments.", Maarten de Haas, Acer America VP of Marketing and Product Management.
